and tought "no, you don't have to be good as them, they are 25-30", but
now I see most of you are around 18!!

Frank, I'd bet you and I have seen some of the same venues and bands back in the hair-rock era. (mid to late 80's) I know I used to play at least one place in Cincinatti, OH that Neil Zaza used to play. (Annie's) and also "Hammerjacks" in Baltimore. Back then, I think the posters just said "Zaza". :)

Just kidding, be happy to be only 23 years old. The older you get, the faster time passes by - this is by the way also one of the negative effects when starting to work => time schedule will be so full, geez, sometimes really consuming. Anyways, the clock on the wall ticking away, seize the day, I heard him say, life will not always be this way ...

Well kids, allow piano wizard Doug to chime in. Jesus this is a young forum  - I had no idea. That reaction is meant less towards those of you who are actually here (which gives me a sense of hope that quality music has a chance again at really coming around) and more towards the older demographic who could give a sh*t about what they call "pretensious/pompous" progressive rock. I mean, I hate the word prog, to me the label is "GOOD". But there's millions of "older" people that would disagree. ARGHHHH :x
Technically I'm 23 (Born 1980), but mentally going on 80. Am I the only person with this problem????
Rock and Roll will never die.

Here’s to the crazy ones.
**The misfits.
****The rebels.
******The troublemakers.
********The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
**** And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
**** disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
******Because they change things.
They invent.****They imagine.****They heal.
**They explore.****They create.****They inspire.
****They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some see them as the crazy ones,
***we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.
(Apple. Think Different. :D )
