Ok, so I've been getting more demo work from Roland and the company I work for and the amount of sheet music I'm having to go through is driving me mad... one of my bosses is in the process of sorting a VERY good dealership deal on the musicpad pro which will mean I can get it for a very reasonable price.

Do any of you own one? What do you think? And of course, Jordan if you're reading - you're opinion would be great too!

Thanks

No, Jordan is not reading this...

MusicPad pro is basically a digital sheet of paper.
If you have lot's of sheet music, I would recommend it...

But training memory/hearing is even better IMHO. I think playing without sheet music, improves your music.

Actually, I don't know why Jordan uses one! He's just supreme master pro keyboard player and he did everything before without it and it was IMHO 2 times harder. And there are thousands of musicians who play without it.

As for me, I'm doing everything inside my head... haven't touched a sheet music sheet for a year now. (except for my harmony exercises)

Well, yea, but you never know, he may pop along some time haha

Anyway, I currently have to use sheet music because I'm terrified of forgetting something important whilst playing and slipping up!!

I imagine Jordan uses it simply because of the shear amount of information he has to remember - not necessarily musical notes, but other important things.
